Special Movie Trivia: Identify the movie from this scene description.

Ah yes. You must be one of the other 10 people who saw this incredible movie. I was sure it would be harder than that.

Greetings

Maybe… but I worked in a video store, and was able to watch all the back catalogue of movies… and the movie blew my mind…

I guess I should post a few of my own

RM1: 2 Brothers kill 9 bad men while hanging from a rope (too easy)

RM2: A dead man searches for a ring in a pawn shop (easy)

RM3: A naked female assassin jumps backwards off a building (medium)

RM4: A male assassin cares for a little girl and a plant (medium)

RM5: A boy and a girl pretend to phone home while sitting opposite each other in a restuarant (hard)

RM6: A woman watches a simulation of a garden, and then gets told her daughter is dead (very hard)

In my humble opinion… all of the movies above are classics…

RM4: The Professional.

Correct… though some of our American friends know it as “Leon”

Rm 1 - Boondock Saints

I feel like I recognize some of the other ones but I can’t come up with them.

Correct… but then it was a really easy one.

As a gift, I’ll tell you that RM6 is a scene from the director’s cut… but knowing that it gets downgraded from “Very Hard” to “Medium”

Cheers

RM6: A woman watches a simulation of a garden, and then gets told her daughter is dead (very hard)

Aliens

W00t!

She gets shown a picture of her daughter as a really old lady. It totally explains why she would go back after Newt at the end… how it never made it into the original cut I will never know.

NDP 35 has been answered–it is “Gangs of New York.”

NDP 33 and 34 are still unanswered.

L4L - 10 Harold and Maude?

RM2 - The Crow
RM5 - Before Sunrise

I like ones that purposely leave out enough details so that you get a completely wrong mental image.

Like:

A small group of travelers watch a gate opening. They decide against passing through it.

NDP 34 - It’s not Harry Potter - The philisopher’s stone/The sorcerer’s stone, is it. I haven’t seen the film, but I’ve read the book, and it sounds like a scene from that.

Here are some for you to guess:

SF 1 - A woman is shot by a man, who is angry at her making fun of him when he can’t find a car.

SF 2 - An audience respond to a stupid decision made on a stage, by collectively slapping their heads.

SF 3 - An assasin is stopped when a fat woman falls on top of him from a great height.

SF 4 - A cop, whilst trying to de-fuse a bomb, inadvertently causes a fuel leak.

SF 5 - A man beats himself up in a toilet.

The naked gun.

NDP 34 is NOT “Harry Potter.”

SF 5 is “Liar, Liar.”

SF 1 is “Jackie Brown.”

Bingo!

That leaves RM3 -

RM3: A naked female assassin jumps backwards off a building (medium)
Clue: It’s not a live action movie…

RM3 sounds like Aeon Flux, although that’s not a movie.
TMD1 – A man in the middle of a fight wants more brandy.

TMD2 – One man obsesses over the way another man’s car sailed off a mountain road.

TMD3 – Two men driving home do not know that they have found what they set out to find.

TMD4 – An old man interrupts a play about himself.

TMD5 – A man is outcast for trying to seduce his leader’s woman with drugged food.

Greetings

Nope… it’s a classis anime movie (and with that clue, it gets downgraded from Medium to easy)…

cheers

Naked female assassin?
Sounds like Ghost in the Machine to me… close?
