All of a sudden, I don’t get any spell check when I post here. Did anything change on this MB, or did I accidently screw up my sttings on my MacBook Pro? I used to get the little red jagged underlines, and as annoying as it was that it didn’t offer a suggested correct spelling, at least it flagged my mispelled words. Now, nothing.
I think spell check is a browser function, not a function of the site. Have you changed browsers or settings on your browser?
I’m sure it’s a browser function, too. I know Firefox has its own built in spell checker. And if you right-click on a flagged word in Firefox, it will pull up a list of alternative spellings.
Click “Edit” in the Safari menu bar. Drop down to “Spelling and Grammar.” Is “Check Spelling While Typing” check marked? If not, check that sucker.
That’s it. Hmmm. Safari works exactly like Firefox used to work when posting here, so I assumed it was a vBulletin function.

“Gone” is spelled correctly.
I recently noticed the little ABC (checkmark) icon in the top left corner of the window I’m tyoping in now. I just installed the spell checker for Internet Explorer…we’ll see if it works.
