The talented and lovely auntie em started a new job about two months ago (she finally found one in the metro area so that we could live together), so the time during the day that she has to post (contrasted with her previous job) is almost nil. And, of course, when she comes home at night, she doesn’t want to spend a lot of time on the computer. But fear not! I have no doubt that she’ll eventually be sucked back into this place. We all try to get away, but no one truly ever does.
Especially, if they keep marrying other Dopers. That same nefarious trap into which sperfur and withaK fell! (Speaking of traps, withaK, I just got the 20th Edition of Trivial Pursuit, so I demand a replay!)

Well that’s great to hear about ** auntie em**. I know she was looking for a while. And now two dopers-in-love are united in domestic bliss.
So, on the future anniversaries, will the husband be rushing out elbows up, face mask in place to brave the crushing throngs of lunatic shoppers to buy an anniversary present for the Mrs. or a Xmas present?

We made it home to Missouri. The kitties were sure happy to see us.
The first thing withaK did when we arrived was hook up the Xbox, so now he feels at home. 
We survived our first marital crisis yesterday. We stopped in Macon to get gas last night and the car wouldn’t start again. Some wonderful people jump started it for us and we made it home. We had to coast the last block when the alternator finally gave up, but it took us the last 75 miles (minus 1 block). :eek:
I’ve uploaded a few photos. I’ll upload more when I get them from the other cameras.
And might I add, the photographer did a great job.

Jasper thinks his new daddy makes a great bed. He slept right on top of him for the past two nights.
We lost track of the pepperoni slices a long time ago. My guess is somewhere between a truckload and a warehouse full.
