based on comments in CA:CW, Parker doesn’t even know how he got the powers
“when whatever happened happened”
And since most folks will have seen that intro - don’t need much more.

I liked this a lot. The Vulture was always one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, so I’m psyched to see him (and no Green Goblin). Looks like his wings are a variant of Falcon’s. I wonder how the Sokovia accords will play into this - has Peter Parker signed them?
I took that as shorthand for “I’m not going to go into the whole thing now and I don’t really understand it anyway.”, not that he can’t trace it back to the specific event when he got the powers.
Helpful; thanks.
You took it correctly. He knows when he got them.
I love that Michael Keaton is the Vulture. I like to pretend in my mind that it is his Birdman character from Birdman or (the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance).
I like Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker. He was a likable guy. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker seemed like a likable kid in Civil War.
I did not like Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker. He was a cocky, little prick.
“Thomas, why on earth do we keep walking down this same damned alley?”
Plus he suffered from “Brecken Meyer” syndrome, he is too attractive to be playing that character
Now that Tony has split with Pepper, maybe he can get it on with Aunt May and have the Only You reunion we’ve all been hoping for.
thumbs-up smiley
Damn. I am dying to know if Great Power comes with anything… Fabulous Hair maybe? I wish someone would tell us.
Why do you hate Christmas?
Thanks for posting this. I saw “teaser” earlier and skipped it, because that usually means a bunch of scenes we already seen and title crawls, and it just ends up disappointing.
Holland was good/true to character in CW. It’s not his fault really, but I hated Garfield’s cocky cool hipster Spider-Man. And no Green Goblin is a plus.
Wings? If they want to be realistic, he should have a web shooter come out of his butt to slow his fall.
Considering that Stark is already kind of a deadbeat dad, I’ll guess that Marvel is the parent who fails to show up to Spider-Man’s games.
Sally Field was already plenty MILFy, Tomei was one of the weirder choices.
According to Wikipedia, this is correct.
I disliked that movie so much I completely forgot Sally Field was in it. Probably the only time someone else has cried more than Sally Field in a movie she was in.
The new Spider-Man movie needs Leopardon.
Because they made that stupid song, “A Horse With No Name”.
Oh, wait…never mind.
I’ve liked all the Spiderman actors since '02, including Garfield. I’m a little burned out on Spiderman movies though. It was smart turning the Captain America movie into an Avengers movie. Solo movies get a bit old.
