Spirited Away Figurines

I am so jealous of Japan … I read Sora News pretty much every day, and not only does Japan get a wide amazing variety of different flavors at Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, all the amazing sounding Japanese restaurants ranging from little hole in the wall stand up counters, to 5 star gourmet places that end up featured on TV here in the states.

They also get the cutest little toys … like the new Spirited Away ones … I would adore having my own Haku =(

Heck yeah! A while back, my daughter sculpted a bunch of the kodama from Princess Mononoke. I’d like actually have them scattered throughout the house, perched on various surfaces…

you can buy glow in the dark kodama over at wish dot com =)

I’m just glad I don’t live near gachapon machines–my dessicated corpse would be discovered under a collapsed mound of tiny cats on toilets and public drunks.

How about a NoFace coin bank?

I saw that on WIsh, but it just didn’t appeal to me for some reason. I just wish that we could get a whole bunch of the stuff from Japan I see over on Sora News. sigh

That’s cool, I love kid art! I’ve kept the sculpey figurines my kids did, they’re exquisitely detailed Im keeping them forever.

I’m pretty confident you’ll be able to buy those outside of Japan without too much trouble… but speaking of Ghibli, LA will be hosting an exhibition next year.

The actual Ghibli Museum in Mitaka is one of the most magical places I’ve ever visited so it will be interesting to see what they can bring to LA (…that is, if they manage to open at all based on the current covid situation…)

Apparently the bear, at least, still does it in the woods.

From 2016, Godzilla apologizes for all that Diet stomping.
