Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss!
Rio Ferdinand!
England leading after five minutes!
Why the HELL Isn’t ESPN showing the game live like they’re supposed to be?!!? All I’m getting is some retarded “alert” at the bottom of my screen telling me that I can kindly watch it at 3:30 today on ABC. I am NOT content to watch the stupid “matchcast” on espn.com or worldcup.com! SOmeone’s going to suffer for this.
On a side note… Go England!
Emile Heskey is useless.
May ESPN suffer eternal hellfire. They’re not showing it. I’m watching on the local spanish chanel and my spanish is pretty shaky.
I don’t even get any Spanish channels.
ESPN dies for this.
Worthless worldcup.com matchcast. Now I’m too pissed to enjoy the game.
Michael Owen 2 - 0 twenty-second minute!
W00t!
Goddamnit I wish I were watching this live. Still! ::happy dance!!::
I read spanish better than I can hear it, but I do no what GOOOAAALLL means.
good job limies
England have shaded it so far – more attacking play. Denmark have attacked too, but can’t seem to put in a good final ball (Rommedahl’s crossing is unusually poor). Both goals down to errors in the Danish defence, who seem very nervous. First one may be an own goal by Thomas Sorenson (ball squirmed across the line from his grasp) and the second got a lucky deflection into Owen’s path from a Danish defender.
Not plain sailing though – Ebbe Sand just missed a golden chance for Denmark.
29 minutes and the rain settles in, good time to be 2-0
Is there a possibility that they call the game for rain, or do they play no matter the weather? I know nothing about this stuff, this is the first time I’ve ever followed football.
Play will only be stopped if the pitch is so waterlogged as to be dangerous or visibility is non-existent. Ain’t going to happen today.
Let’s hope not. Rain seems to be coming harder now, by all accounts. I’d be furious.
Rainfall now reaching biblical proportions, but chances of game being called off practically nil
Looks muy mal for the Danes. Who’s better in inclement weather?
I take back almost everything I said about Emile Heskey.
3-0!
Holy crap, dudes. Time for a halftime happy dance!
Beeblebrox: I doubt the weather will phase either team; half of the Danish team play in England anyway.
Pleasant change from that narcoleptic german game. That’s half time, what a half for England
