First, I am a man.
When I was in high school and maybe even earlier, I had what’s called emotional orgasms. In a very specific situation, while on an exam, at a point when I would feel oh, sh*t, I’m not going to be able to answer any of this questions. I was having some sort of a panic feeling (quite intense and feeling like it’s out of my control) and at that moment I was starting feeling an orgasm coming, pretty fast. I was both trying to avoid it by cramping my muscles because probably I would have ejaculated, and at the same time really hoping for it because it was different from a normal one, I can’t explain, it felt different.

I woke up this morning with the same feeling I had last time …I was sure I was going to have an orgasm any minute.

Coincidence only that I had a doctor appointment to today. Its a long drive so I took an Ativan. The feeling was gone by the time I got to the doctor’s office.

I decided to tell him after I asked him not to put it in my record. He agreed but did tell me if he thought it was serious he would then BEG me to add to my record and receive the proper care.

So I told him.

He doesn’t think I am having seizures. But I may be having pre-seizures or I might just be having spontaneous orgasms.

I had him blushing. For all I know he might look up information on the net and find my posts.

I really don’t know any more than I knew before.

I really think it is related somehow to my dream state. Though I have no idea what my dreams were. While I am in the mode I have this déjà vu feeling, which seemed to hang with me most of the day.

You know, a friend of mine has/had (It’s been a while so past tense might be appropriate) a seizure disorder. First thing they give in the ER for seizures is Ativan. Way to self-medicate!

I’ve only had it happen once. I have no idea what could have precipitated it (it hadn’t been an unusually long time since last O or anything). I’m under the impression that they’re more common in women.

Not to be a party pooper, but to be honest it kind of sounds like. maybe your doctor didnt take it that serious or really look into it with maybe some tests ..im assuming he is your gp. I would see a neurologist

Huh, never saw this thread until now.

When I was young, like up to age 12 or 13, I would have them from time to time, sometimes one, sometimes multiples. One time maybe a series of 30, 40, I don’t know how many over an hour. Maybe at least 1 a minute while it lasted? Without TMI they were very pleasurable, as in can’t-walk-just-lay-in-bed-for-the-ride. Oh my God they were incredible.

I have no idea what triggered them. They never happened while I was touching anything, nor even interested, they just appeared from nowhere. Now I can’t even have 1 no matter what, so.

Less sexy: I have nearly/slightly orgasmed from some sort of internal stimulation (or something) caused by desperately trying to hold it until reaching a bathroom when caught out with the trots.

Hmm…sounds similar to a sensation that can be encountered during enema play (or so I’ve heard).

I’ve never experienced a spontaneous orgasm as described in this thread, though it’s quite easy for me to achieve orgasm with no external stimulation if I’m sitting in the right position (it involves internal abdominal flexing…it’s sort of hard to describe).
