A few months back, I was struck by a particular eerie piano melody in an episode of South Park. I could swear I had heard it before.

Tonight, I’ve heard it again in the “Towelie” episode, as the general confronts the boys in the “clone room” (althought I did tune in halfway through, and it could have played earlier, as well). This time, I think I recognized it from a re-watching of the movie based on one of my favorite books, “The Ninth Gate”/“The Club Dumas”, a few nights ago.
