Short, simple, quick question. About three and a half years ago, I was suffering some really bad knee pain, so I finally gave in and went to the doctor. Diagnoses was patellar tendonitis, and I was told to wear a knee support while working out and ice it.
Good for the next few years. Not so good now - both knees have been really bothering me lately. Is there anything my fellow athletic dopers can recommend to reduce the pain, other than copious amounts of ibuprofen and ice?
And before you all yell at me to see a doctor, it’s the same exact pain that I’ve had on and off for the past three years. So I know it’s nothing serious. I just am asking for some ideas to reduce the pain during/after workouts.
