Spring cocktails

In honor of Spring, I give you my reconstruction of Wynn Las Vegas’ Pear-A-Sol cocktail:

3 oz. Absolut Pear vodka
3/4 oz. sweet & sour mix
3/4 oz. simple syrup
1/2 oz. pear puree
1 tsp. Luxardo maraschino liqueur

Stir over ice, strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry.

How are you celebrating Spring, cocktail-wise?

Sapphire martini, up, olive.

Chilled Trader Joe’s peach juice and sparkling wine.

A Ramos gin fizz seems like an Easter-y kind of drink to me, for no particular reason.

Ooh yes…I did the Dixie Peach with sparkling water and Whipped Vodka…

silenus, I am so kicking myself right now…I have the Absolut Apear, but I talked myself out of the sweet and sour mix last night! I was staring at it for the longest time, but had no idea how I would use it!

Thanks Silenus!… had a sample Absolut Pear vodka sample given to me, and I had bought Luxardo maraschino liqueur for another cocktail… perfect timing!
