Just goes to validate the old saw, the squeaky weirdo gets the parole!
OK let’s start taking bets to see how long it’ll be before she mucks it up and lands back inside
That article is a little misleading, isn’t it? It makes it sound like the only reason that Ford escaped with his life was that Ms. Fromme forgot that pistols work better with bullets.
Or she believed it to be double action.
It doesn’t say anything about bullets in the article. It just says that the SS guys grabbed her and she couldn’t kill him.
ETA: Oops, it does. But it does talk about the role of the people who stopped her so why is it misleading?
However, the people she helped murder are still dead.
Wonder which NFL team will pick her up…
I used to have a rat named Squeaky. She wasn’t named after a member of the Manson family, though.
On the other hand, there’s my tiel, Sadie Mae…
I award two points to kayaker for best post in thread.
You can pull the trigger all you want on a double action semi-auto, but if there’s no round in the chamber, you’re not gonna get a boom.
I wonder if “The Office” will pick up on this next season.
Did she assist in that crime?
Again I am the Poster Child for fighting ignorance. Thanks.
If you mean the Tate/LoBianco murders, she was not part of the group that broke into the estates and carried out the crimes, but I find it hard to believe that she did not know about it, given that she was living in a communal situation with the killers.
Wikipedia says she refused to testify against Charley, and tried to prevent other family members from testifying. She also seems to have been involved in another murder in Stockton, California - but eluded charges because she lucked out and wasn’t on the premises when police raided the compound.
Soon to star in a reality show on Lifetime!
:: still trying to get my head around the idea of someone named “Squeaky” ::
Good points. This is why I hate jury duty.
It isn’t the name her mama gave her when she was born, no.
