St. Louis dopers, how does one get to the Muny?

I’d be coming from Columbia, Mo, so directions from I-70 east would be best.

I don’t trust Mapquest. I’ve already done mapped it and gotten their driving directions, but I know Mapquest has been wrong before. I guess I just want some reassurance.

And yeah, this is more of a specific rather than general question, but it’s not really mundane and pointless. Really.

Thanks in advance!

      • I dunno about the driving instructions, but it is located on the land between Summit and Theater drive. The map looks right to me. Their website (www.muny.com) is about as helpful as the Mapquest map, but the “north” map is missing (?)… - MC

So, do you think that it should be pretty easy to find? I do know how to get to Forest Park – I’ve been to the zoo and the SLAM a few times.

      • It’s really been a while since I’ve gone to the Muny for anything, and they have done a lot of construction in the last couple years. When I used to go to shows I’d park and enter through the back; I don’t even remember what the front looked like. -I think Summit Drive is the rear entrance. For most shows the free seats are open, and you get to them from the back entrance also. - MC

Are you going to be there EARLY Monday morning?

[sub]Shhhhhhhhh! You going too?[/sub]

I’m probably not going to be inside at all. Just in one one of the parking lots.

If I can roll my rear out of bed that early, I’ll be there.

Also, I plan on being available to be in COU in two weeks…

So, you gonna tell me how to get there? I’d hate to miss out because I couldn’t find it…

And don’t you complain about getting up early. I’ll be leaving here around 3:30 that morning, most likely, if not earlier!

Well, get to I-64/US40, turn off at the Forest Park exit (the Hampton exit)… make a left over the highway and there’ll be signs pointing you to the Muny. I think.

Well, if that’s the best you can do…

I think we can find it. crosses fingers
