Almost certainly not, absent much harder evidence than that. Dopers often get the idea that some random person or another whose work they enjoy has a sensibility which is unique to this board. There is hardly any sensibility which is unique to this board. We are, I’m afraid, but a puddle in the ocean of humanity.

The short length I’ve read of the link is it is third rate compared to Sampiro, Scylla, Polycarp or Tomndebb’s better writing. It is all professional pundit writing style, with no individual personality. But I got the CNN link.
