I had probs with how his character was being written earlier in this arc. But, he’s getting better.
I like the guy, esp now that I know he’s a goof!
Like way back in time, when I met Sulu… I never thought too much of his character (except in two different eps. GUESS WHICH ONES!), but when this impresioionable young lad actually met George, well, I was truly impressed. He took the time to talk to a 14 yr old geek, me, about Sci-Fi in general, not just Trek stuff. He is a fan and he knows his stuff.
Wow. This is the first thread I’ve started that has gone on for 7 pages! And I can take full credit for that, because I know that it was my brilliant and sparkling OP that prompted this thread to be so popular!
Since I was bored, I decided to do a little investigating and discovered that of the 100 most posted in threads in CS, that 20, or one-fifth, are ENT threads. Also, of the 31,685 posts in those threads, 5,708, or 18% are ENT.
I broke it down even further by looking at each thread and seeing how many times each of us posted in it and compiled the numbers to see who has posted what percentage and this is what I have come up with:
ENT to Thread Ratio : 20/100 = 20%
The first fraction is the number of threads posted in, the second the number of posts, and the third number is the percentage that each of us made in the ENT threads.
I need that job ASAP. =/
I’m on a T1 and can’t get good enough response to search for such statistics*. Too bad such perseverence isn’t easily represented in a resume.
I like DKMR now that his character is being fleshed out  more. I think they all need exposure to the Psi-2000-Virus[sup]TM[/sup] to allow them to explore their characters some more.
I was looking for one of the weekly Enterprise threads by searching for “Enterprise”, but I couldn’t find it. I had to search on carnivorousplant to locate it. The title had, IIRC, “Enterprise:” so the search engine didn’t see it.
[sub]NB: I and Mrs. Case love ER too. We would like to see Neela and Gallant get together.[/sub]
Now that’s damned embarassing.
I hope you found my explanatory post on high density particle physics and the discussion of homophobic influences in the writings of Charle Sand in relation to late Victroia economic practices.
My God, man. And I thought I had no life. It sounds like you aren’t even making time for porn with all your little statistical figurings. Is everything all right?
I think it was a TNG episode, wasn’t it?. After they stopped Moriarty the first time, on the holodeck, Data and Geordi conjured up the rest of Victrolian England. You know, that scratchy, sputtery musical where Deanna goes round and round trying to teach Data how to pronounce contractions. He succeeds and she shouts, “By Geordi, I think you’ve got it!”
nO, IT WAS A CROSSOVER tos/tng EP WHERE tRELANE TELLS kIRK, “bY jOVE,* I think you’ve got it!”
Picard rushes in to inform them that “We don’t have religion in the 24th and a half thentury.”
Then Kirk asks, “What does God need with a bald man?”
And Stewart replied, “At least they don’t have to dress me in high heels and lifts because I, unlike you bastard Canadians, am of normal height!”
Grace Lee Whitney revealed her rocking past as a drummer for aan acid metal band in Toronto, which caused Dom to drop his pants and “Request an autograph.”
*short for Jehovah, of course. Ow! Who’s throwing stones?!
