A friend of mine has a short film on the internet called Interview with the Red Shirts. It’s a “tricorder smuggle” of the doomed red-shirted members of landing parties who are grousing about their lot in life and their mortality.

This might interest the filmmakers on the board: It was shot on super-8 film (not video).
I saw it, pretty funny, I would’ve enjoyed it more had it not been for the crappy Real™ video quality. Bleh to them.
It was worth my time. Just couldn’t hear some of the dialogue over the music in the beggining.
I think there’s a DSL link as well, but I don’t have a DSL connection so I didn’t try it.
I just heard that this film will not be free anymore within a few days, so if you haven’t seen it this may be your last chance. At least until it gets on ifilm.com (I don’t know when that will be). It was supposed to be free on Bijouflix for only one week.

Go to http://www.bijouflix.com/ then click on “Top 5 Free Streams” (it won’t let me copy the link). A new window will pop up and there will be a list in the middle of the page. Pick “Intervw. w/ Red Shirts”, either the 56K or the DSL (I haven’t tried the latter).
