"Star Trek" trivia contest

I think we’re still looking for the answer to this:

Who was the first regular cast member to write an episode for Star Trek, what was the episode called?

I’d be interested to know the answer to that one, a couple of Trek actors have gone on to direct episodes/films but I never heard which episodes were actor written.

Didn’t Majel Barrett do a voice-over role on B5?

I was just coming in to add Majel Barrett and Tony Todd.

Walter Koenig wrote a TAS episode, iirc, "The Ultimate Vulcan. Majel Barrett received co-story credit on one of her DS9 appearances.

Add Michael Ansara to the list of Tre/B5 actors.

Lawrence Dobkin directed an ep of TOS, acted in an ep of TNG.

Stanley Adams acted in “Tribbles,” co-wrote “The Mark of Gideon.”

And, regarding ST/B5–If we include movies, how about Paul Winfield (Terrell in “Khan”, Steven’s dad/Earthforce general on B5).

Honestly, even excluding the many character actors already named who were on both Trek and B5, I’ll bet if you scanned the cast listing for seventh or eighth-billed performers, you would probably come up with at least 50-75 actors who have been on both but whose names are generally not known, or whose faces have not become “Hey, it’s that guy” familiar.

“The Infinite Vulcan”, but otherwise correct. A pity it’s not canon, I love the idea of an army of 24 foot tall Spocks rampaging across the galaxy. We might even see some threads on it: “24 foot Spock vs Star Destroyer” springs to mind.

Yeah, I don’t know if she’s been mentioned so far, but the lady who played the redheaded psychic in B5 played a security guard in a couple of the later seasons of STNG. Don’t know if she had any lines, but she sure looked nice in a bodysuit…

^^^The lovely Patricia Tallman–god knows how Trek (forget which ep or movie) managed to bill this very female actress/stuntwoman as Patrick Tallman!!!

To bump a few of my questions that may have gotten lost in the shuffle:

Who was originally cast as Lazarus in “The Alternative Factor,” but failed to show up for work, leading to a six-month suspension from SAG. He had a very famous actor father, aunt and uncle, and now a very famous daughter whose first name was this late hippie drug-addled actor’s middle name.

Eddie Albert’s daughter-in-law was on an ep of TOS. Name her and the episode.

What member of The Bangles was in which TOS movie?

Anyone care to list the ones we’ve missed? I would, but honesty compels me to admit that I’m just too fuckin lazy. :dubious:
