And Kylo Ren is male.
But Daisy Ridley is already a fantasy name.
Quite. They’re being very deliberately teasey.
They were released via JJ Abrams himself. And the numbers on the Topps cards are also supposedly significant, most people are guessing they represent scene numbers so perhaps you can piece together a little bit of the plotline.
It wouldn’t be above J.J. Abrams to to confirm a fake - or release one himself. He loves messing with his audience.
Maybe, but I don’t think so this time. I think they just decided to let the audience have a few names to go with the trailer we saw.
It just seems weird to me. Who prints a card showing a character from behind?
These are absolutely real.
Also the cards line up quite nicely with the same cards in the original Topps series. For example, Rey on her speeder (#74) matches Luke in his landspeeder (#74).
Is there a comparison shot somewhere?
Here’s my own attempt: More clues from the Force Awakens Topps cards… | Star Wars Always
Interesting - thanks. And quite a username, given the topic!
I’m a Star Wars nerd, of course. ![]()
Plus I like that “Lobot” is short for “Lobotomy”…
Here is the Falcon stabilized. Sorry if it was already posted; I’m getting lost in my own thread at this point.
Yes, thanks, that was posted earlier. I see the dish or antenna on the forward port hull of the Falcon is different from the ship’s earlier days. It’s rectangular now; it was circular then: http://img.lum.dolimg.com/v1/images/Millennium-Falcon_018ea796.jpeg?region=0%2C1%2C1536%2C864&width=768
Well, they needed a new one after it was knocked off inside the Death Star.
Yeah, the poster above me pointed out that Lando got it knocked off in Return of the Jedi. I think it’s great they remembered that.
Was it shown as a rectangle before now? I guess not, after Lando and his crew escaped from the exploding Death Star 2.0.
I read somewhere they made sure to obviously replace the damn dish because of nitpicker whining about it.
Where did you read that?
I don’t know why TIE pilots have to relearn this every year, there was a reason that TIE fighter were not part of the Hoth base assault.
Somewhat closer look at Kylo Ren(the bad guy).
