Just got my copy of the SWII:ATOC and I can’t seem to access the Easter eggs on the first disc!
I have a GE 1106P. I have also tried to access them on my DVD-ROM drive, but to no avail.
Anybody else have this problem?
Yup, and it’s because our DVD players are made by GE (mines a 1105P). In order to properly input the code you have to hit “10”, “1”, “3”, “8.” GE DVD players don’t have a “10” key, or at least mine doesn’t and I assume . So you and I are SOL basically.

Lucas screws his fans again! Not purposely, I don’t think, but still once again due to poor planning and carelessness, they put in an easter egg that not all fans will be able to access.
But that’s OK - he’s getting his royalty whether or not you can fully enjoy the DVD you purchased. I bet they’re laughing all the way to the bank.
Not being one to give on such things, I tried the Egg again. I did this:
- Select OPTIONS menu
- Highlight the THX logo
- Press 1 1 and wait for the numbers to disappear
- Press 3 and wait
- Press 8 and wait
- Voila!
- Realize that I worried excessively over what was a very weak series of bloopers and DVD production credits.
- Secretly wish that George Lucas’ beard falls out while make Ep III
