September 12th! Be there!
Scuttlebutt has it you can rip arms off as Chewie.
I can’t wait!
Take a look at the trailer in the link. I dare you.
Good for Lucas. He found another was to make a buck off the clones.
“Yes, sir I’ll buy them even though I paid to see the re-releases, the altered DVDs which are 99.9% IDENTICAL, Episodes I-III which I hated, and I’ve seen the originals 100 times. Anything else I can do for you? Rub your feet? Buy you dinner? Are you releasing action figures, too?”
Ordinarily I’d be inclined to agree, but the original Lego Star Wars was awesome enough that I don’t care who gets money from my buying this one.
Oh hell yes! Can’t wait for this game.
Exactly. Star Wars Lego for XBox is a transformative game. My (now) 6 year old will eat her broccoli for an opportunity to play.
Agreed. LSWI is the first game I played on my PS2, and it’s kind of ruined me for other games. I’ve played a couple others, but they just aren’t as fun or addictive. Normally I’d wait a few months and try to buy it used, but in this case I might have to shell out fhe $40.
I seemed to have confused my Star Wars threads when I posted that.

Now to figure out if a) they’re going to have a ‘special’ version with a goodie, and b) what retailer(s) will have it!
I do hope that the camera works better in the second one than the first.
<< Don’t get even–get odd! >>
Wow!
I can’t wait for this.
I’ve never even heard of the first one. If it’s as fun as the preview makes it sound, it looks awesome.
Just go get the first one now. You’ll be absorbed by the gameplay and humor of it.
You can still find it on the shelves, probably for about $20 now.
In some ways the LEGO pieces were better actors than the ‘real thing’.
