It should be a Firefly-type, so that the meta/inspiration discussions can be entirely circular in nature (Whedon was inspired by the Millenium Falcon to create Firefly).
But seriously, it should be a show about a small crew of shady characters (entirely new characters) on a spit-and-wire spaceship.
This sounds like the setup for 80% of Star Wars RPG campaigns. 
(But, seriously, I like Favreau, so I’m cautiously optimistic.)
I think that they are working on 137 Star Wars series at the moment. It is getting to be like that cartoon where Donald Duck forced Huey, Dewey, and Louie to smoke a full box of cigars.
