No, the “That part goes there, -this- part goes here…” line is said to Chewie. The droid is told “There must be some reason for it, try the other end… wait a second…”
And I’m sure the droid was named in the Star Wars CCG… but it’s been ages since I’ve brough my collection out of the box to look at it. It was probably something like EV-9D9.

I was thinking about my answer to #95. In The Mandalorian Armor, they said that the Sarlacc reaches all across the planet, and IIRC the sand people believe that it made up the core of the planet too. Not that this really matters, but just my two cents.

Yeah, Ex-Tank I know that you are right. But the Sarlacc was seen in the Triology just not all of it, kinda like the space slug. Yeah, I agree that the Sarlacc thing is just EU but thought I might throw that out there as well.
