Okay, we’ve all heard the stories of people who camp out for weeks just to see Star Wars. But, what about the guys who came to see something else?
And what happens to the line once the movie is sold out? I don’t think they just walk away.
Typically on shows where there is a line that starts up to a week before the theatres make a special very late showing past the normal closing time of the theatres. This way the fanatics don’t disrupt normal business.
I have seen theatres have a door for Star Wars, and a door for other movies. So people going to other movies bypass the long line.
