Starfleet uniforms which series is the best?

Not white for everyone - different colors for different branches of Starfleet:

That got my vote.

I liked the ones that started in Wrath of Khan the best, with the Season 3 through 7 TNG uniforms in second. Picard’s “captain’s jacket” was particularly cool, I thought.

I knew there was a reason I liked those uniforms! (the TWK and SFS uniforms). I believe those same uniforms returned for The Undiscovered Country, too.)

I like the classic Voyager ones (mainly black with colored shoulder yokes) the most, but it’s also what I’m most familiar with so my nostalgia may be talking. ST:TNG’s classic style (black shoulders/pants, colored chest) is also good. Not a fan of the stylized ones in OP’s post for TNG.

The Wrath of Khan/Search for Spock ones are pretty dope too, though they kinda clash with the idea of the officers constantly going on dangerous away missions. And I wish they had more color variety than just red.

If female, TOS.

If male, DS9.

I liked the late-season DS9 ones the best, the ones that made their debut in Star Trek: First Contact. But Voyager never wore those, I don’t think.

TOS season one. The TNG Captains jacket. First Contact unis.

They have cozy-looking field jackets for landing parties.

Whichever one 7 of 9 was in.

She didn’t wear a Starfleet uniform.

I voted for the VOY/DS9 uniforms, but if it was an option I’d have selected the TOS era movie uniforms (excluding TMP, they were ridiculous).

That wasn’t an actual uniform; it was something the Doctor designed for her because after removing most of her Borg implants she needed to wear a skintight garment to help with thermal regulation and high heels for other legitimate medical reasons.

I guess that shows how much I paid attention to the plot.

I don’t like the Dickie look. I like the stylishness of TNG or the utilitarianism of Enterprise.

I agree with this. I haven’t decided which of the two to vote for.

Funny thing is that the uniforms from first contact were actually DS9 uniforms. They didn’t even bother to have them fitted.

If you watch “Rapture”, Sisko’s new plum-colored uniform is badly fitted to him or… something! He had his combadge up on the purple shoulder area.

TNG had at least 2 separate styles of uniform.

The second version - with a collar, less saturated coloured section, actually cut to fit the actors - was great, as was the DS9/Voyager version, which was the same thing with the colours moved to the shoulders.

The Enterprise uniforms are OK, but slightly bland-functional.

The TOS and movie-verse versions are right behind the late-TNG/DS9/Voy set.

The early TNG uniforms are trash.

The TOS-movie-era officer uniforms are nice (other uniforms were kind of 70s-awful), but the division colours were both too muted and too minor a bit of the design (especially with the smaller collars some of the TNG-flashback uniforms had), so it’d be forgivable to forget that they actually existed (also, they were given a reshuffle that didn’t connect to the the colours on either side at all), which loses them some points.

Well, yeah; the early ones lack a tunic Patrick Stewart can tug on when he stands up.

Not very often, anyway: http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/memoryalpha/images/c/c5/Seven_of_Nine_Relativity.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20070713193008&path-prefix=en
