Stargate Atlantis vs. CSI vs. Tarantino [latest ep]

I’m still laughing.

John Sheppard. Alternate universe. Stargate vs. CSI vs. Tarantino. Fun stuff. The machine gun wielding Wraith living in the silver bullet was tops.

I’m as bored as the producers of Stargate evidently are, and now we’re amusing ourselves.

I liked the episode…it was very entertaining. Too short though, could have been a two-parter.

I thought it was pretty awful. The only redeeming thing about it was that it wasn’t Rodney-centric, as opposed to every other freaking episode of the last few seasons.

Silver Bullet trailer…vampires…oh cute one, I get it now!

I liked the “fact” that if you had a Wraith next door to you in a hotel, he was obviously going to be playing over the top loud heavy metal /rock music, being totally inconsiderate to the neighbors!

I was just thanking gawd it wasnt in Miami where everything is glowing orange or blue.

I like how the producers of the show have somehow gained the autonomy to play around with different styles without being immediately canceled. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles kinda plays around that way too. Dangerous game though, either show could get the ax at any moment.

This is the second-to-last episode of the series. Maybe they are going to go the way of Stargate SG-1, and do a few feature-length DVD releases.

I did think they had way too many filler type episodes for the last ever season. I mean

finding out the Asgard are not all gone

was cool and all, but it took 2 episodes, and I don’t know how much of a role that can play in upcoming episodes.

Ah, shit. I didn’t know it was already axed. Well, at least we’ll get a movie, and I guess there’s Stargate Universe to look forward to.

I think he did that intentionally to irritate the neighbor. Nothing like a home delivered meal.

Good thing the guy wasnt Chinese

But if you find some good Mexican, it’s worth it.

Until you have to go to the bathroom, then WHAM!

The episode was very fun. I’d be interested in a CSI: Stargate series.

All we have to do is add Abby from NCIS, and we’re gold.

Can anyone tell me if I got this right? What we saw was a parallel universe? And the Wraith signal went out to all universes? So now “our” universe is in peril?

Correct. I’m not sure, but I think that alternate reality had been featured in some other episode too.

I thought it was a decent episode. They have a history of doing off-the-wall stuff like this, and this one was better than their other weirdo episodes. The interdimensional thing is also a fun twist because they have so overused the story of our universe messing up others. It’s interesting to have it come back around.

Yes, this episode’s Rodney was sucked into “our” universe by some doohickey in a prior episode. This Rodney was a likeable, personable guy who charmed everyone, and left regular Rodney feeling low. Anyhow, in the end they sent him back.

I distinctly remember that Rodney, from the previous parallel universe episode, mentioning that his John Sheppard was a member of Mensa, and that he was a member of Rodney’s team. The cop Sheppard and the Las Vegas Rodney had never met before.

Agreed he did say that. Plus this Rodney seemed a little too snarky with Zelenka to be the charming, personable alternate we’ve already seen. This has to be a third alternate universe not previously seen

Yes, they stopped/weakened the signal enough it probably won’t get to the Wraiths’ galaxy anytime soon, but it ripped a hole into the space-time continuum where the signal would be stronger and alternate Wraith universes, such as ours, will get a signal telling the Wraith where earth is, in our universe.

I agree what’s cool is normally we fuck with someone else’s universe then leave them to their fate, but this time an alternate universe fucked with us, and has left us to our fate.
