What causes a ‘startle’?
This has happened to me quite a few times. I am reading, or watching TV, and it is as if something was hurtling toward my face, and I flinch, moving my head back as if to avoid what is coming towards me (and then I curse because I hate when that happens).
Anyone with an explanation?
