Isn’t there some sort of rule about continuously calling someone a liar without ever furnishing proof of it despite numerous challenges?
If not there ought to be.
And come to think of it, isn’t there some sort of rule prohibiting someone from making numerous false attributions as to what another poster has said, and then when having been proven wrong refusing to acknowledge and apologize for their error. (Yes, elucidator - and for that matter, tomndebb - I’m looking at you.)
One would think then that out of all my posts to this board, Lobohan could come up with some way of trying to prove it besides alleging that my comments with regard to one of two omitted Hannity clips equates somehow to telling people that the other one doesn’t exist. GIGObuster then jumped on that silly bandwagon and began to claim the same.
But really, it’s all cool to me; it only proves they have nothing of merit with which to dispute the larger issues I raise. Still, allowing genuine lying such as they are engaging in, and allowing it to go unchallenged, is how such lies become accepted as the truth.
Thus I would think that a mod at some point would tell the miscreant to put up or shut up, lest the board become filled with “Did too”, “Did not” posts.
The difference is that challenges I choose not to respond to are not in regard to lies I’ve told about other posters. It’s one thing if I decide not to respond to some challenge that I either feel I don’t have time for, is likely flawed, or is merely obfuscatory, and quite another to quail from proving an assertion that I made about another poster.
Interesting. You lied about me before I ever said anything that could be construed as false or even directed an insult at you. I then made an observation, once, that you challenged with foaming mouth and waving arms, failing to actually prove your point, and have then gone on to repeat your [del]lies[/del] charges in multiple threads on numerous occasions. The closest I have come to that behavior was to make a single joke about the fact that you promised on three occasions to provide evidence of my errors and failed to provide any of the evidence on all three occasions.
Be careful what you seek, lest you find it and your rule be employed to hurl you from this august body.
It seems to me though that environment that consists of financially strapped people who indulge in drugs and drinking and crime and violence to such a degree that they’ve become stereotyped for it, would not skew conservative.
