So I haven’t been to this board in AGES, however after a couple of hours of frustration googling I can’t find what I’m looking for and I thought maybe someone on here could help.
I work as a 1st Assistant Director. Once upon a time I had a folder that I used to keep the day’s callsheet, the schedule, sides, and all other relevant paperwork in.
It was A4 size and hard backed, but it was sectioned so that it could fold down horizontally into thirds which was perfect size to fit in my back pocket (became the size of an envelope). It two plastic spikes with a fold down clip on one side so you could put hole punched paper in it and secure it down. It was the PERFECT thing.
Through various relocations and house moves, my original has gone awry. I was given it as a present when I graduated film school and I have NO idea what it could be called or how to find another on. I’ve tried googling pretty hard “trifold binder”, “threefold a4 punched wallet” and infinite variations of this. I’ve called a stationery supplier and they have no idea what I’m talking about. I have never seen this thing except for the 1 that I had. It had a rocket or a lightning bolt embroidered onto the front (the cover was like a nylon/heavy cotton type material) so I’m guessing they must have been mass produced from somewhere - but where?
Any help at all would be massively appreciated. I don’t know if this is the right board to be putting this in (maybe should be MPSIMS?) but my hopes are that other film people in here might know what I’m talking about.
cheers
