There’s actually a roughly 1/5 scale Lady Liberty on an island in the Susquehanna River, just north of Harrisburg, PA. It’s 25 feet high. And it looks MUCH better from the distance of the Rte. 322…

And here is a photo of the one in the front yard of the Wilmington NC city hall. I used to live in that town. There is also one on the tip of the *Ile de la Cite * in the Seine River beside tNotre Dame Cathedral. I can’t find my photo of it right now. (I must organize my pix.)
