If you finish the last two seasons 4-12 and 6-10, I don’t think you get a bandwagon. They might rent you a tricycle and let you play a kazoo while you ride it.
You’ve got to be kidding. If the skins win 3 in a row and lose a close one their fanbase turns on them immediately. There’s a very strong " but what have you done for me LATELY" attitude amongst not only skins fans but Nats and Caps fans as well. Hell just this season the Caps were being booed at home while taking the ice after a 3 game skid AND THEY WERE STILL IN FIRST PLACE!!! We were hearing “Shanahan and McNabb blow!” a quarter of the way through the season. Strasburg gets hurt and no one shows up to cheer for the Nats anymore.
Sorry man. This is a terrible sports town with horrible fans.
I don’t agree, at all. You have to separate Skins fans from the rest, for one. The NFL is the most popular game in town by far, as it is pretty much everywhere else. The Wizards have sucked forever so there’s no expectation there, and the Caps are only recently a good hockey team in an American city that (as a country) has uneven support for NHL franchises in general. The true love is the Redskins, and they do LOVE them. I think you are completely off base.
A terrible sports town? Jeez man, I think that’s an overstatement bigtime as well… they are just as unsatisfied by the lack of wins as any other major city with an NFL team would be…especially since they have been proven winners in the not too distant past.

There are plenty of wonderful fans of the Skins, but it really isn’t a good sports town here, I agree.
