I wonder if anybody has attempted a map of Mid-world… I’m very curious to know more about where everything is in relation to everything else.
Would love to have it as I re-read the series in preparation for the next book. Here’s hoping it’s just my lack of google skills that I haven’t found any such map…

One especially neat point is that there are actually two different versions of one of the maps, representing a single textual revision in the new version of The Gunslinger - Roland was walking due south in the original, but in the new test, he’s walking southeast, because the later books establish that that’s the direction of the Tower, and thus both Roland and Walter must have been headed that way. It changes the shape of things a bit, which is reflected in the two map versions.
