Once again, I seem to have screwed up, and I haven’t the slightest idea how. I’m showing up on the Teeming Millionaires list, but it’s showing me as if I’ve done no trading. And I have done a good bit in the last couple hours, managing to lose over $500.
Did I mess up when signing in? Am I trading in the wrong place? What’s the story?
I have no time to play, but I do want to hype “The Evil Portfolio” for your investment needs.
You must have 666 shares of the following:
DEVILLE
HELLABY (HBY.NZ)
HELLENIC BOTTL (HBC.AX)
HELLENIC CABLES
Tack on 66 shares of SATAIR for good measure.
Of course, like any portfolio which hopes to be competitive, we have to diversify. As such, the following stocks which are all close to my heart:

Needless to say, I also take into account the climate our investors find themselves in, like any good portfolio should, and have included the following:

And of course, what “Evil Portfolio” would be intact without 666 shares of PROCTER & GAMBLE (PG)?

I found the link when looking at ‘my stocks’. The site is down right now but it was in the middle of the left in that page.
For those of you willing to take big risks, and I think a 3 month time span demands it, try http://www.ipo.com for researching brand new stocks and their companies. I’m just a bit cheesed that I can’t buy stocks that are less than 5 bucks a share. I’ve got a couple I’d like to buy about $25,000 worth. Like Owens-Corning, it was going for 75 cents a share yesterday when the market opened, right now it’s going for about 1.50. That’s 100% gain in two days of trading. Damn.

I was a bit shocked to find my complete name listed in the ‘Teeming Millionaires’ list when clicking the ‘view’ tab.
After looking around a bit, I found that if while in the ‘My Stocks’ page, you can change your name etc. by clicking on the ‘Edit Profile’ tab towards the top.
I’ve also made the mistake of trading against the computer a couple of times, and not in the competition area.
To those who have done this too, make sure to click on the ‘Teeming Millionaires’ link in the middle left portion of the page.
I eventually sold all my stocks in the ‘StockQuest’ account to make sure I didn’t trade on the wrong account (Too bad, they were all up %75! (snicker)).
Not earthshattering info, just a couple things I had to spend time figuring out and think wise to pass on…
Can’t trust those damn capitalists. Always lying and cheating, keeping us workers down. I always had more faith in you sdimbert, I thought you were one of the good guys. I guess not 
In case anyone is interested in the “truth” I’m in 10th place. But, tomorrow I’ll be back on top.
If you can’t hear me protesting this defamation of my character, it’s because I am waaaay down here in 24th place, covered by the bodies of investors who all managed to make much more than me by doing nothing more than letting their money sit and collect 4% interest!

sdimbert, think how bad I feel! It was that Xilinx that screwed me (down 16 points in one day!). As if our real stock market woes are not depressing enough!

I, too, am playing the random game. With my eyes closed, I randomly clicked on company names. I then bought 100 shares of each one I randomly clicked. May buy a few more tonight.
Sorry sdimbert. Ok. t the results you posted. Now find my name on there. Ok look again. That’s right, I’m not on there. I figured it was glitch in the results, or you accidentally deleted me when you transcribed them. I thought I’d make a joke out of it. Get it? hahaha. big laughs.
