Stomping Dixie Chicks?

In today’s K Chronicles comic by Keith Knight, he talks of a practice wherein you “stomp a dixie-chick”, which seems to be an anti-anti-war protester’s statement against the Dixie Chicks and their own political statements. The comic depicts a baby chicken, presumably real and alive based on the “peep peep” sound it’s making, tucked under a Dixie cup, then stomped on, which I’m fairly sure warrants a :eek:.

Have people actually done this?

I think the whole comic pretty clearly shows a bunch of things that aren’t real. It’s just gross hyperbole.
