Stones... you make a.........cry

Is it just me or does anybody else out there think Mick should be singing “You make a Grandpa cry” instead of “grown man?”

I’d love to see 90% of the population move around and sing like he does at any age. Screw that- Mick is stick fantastic.

Did he sing the “You make a dead man cum” line?

Nope.

They kinda muffled the “cock” thing, too. They’re such pussies.

And by “they” I meant “the network suits”.

I’ll move this along to the forum for the arts and entertainment, though I must admit that show was neither art nor entertainment.

Moved from IMHO to CS.

I did mention that something was wrong with a senior citizen skipiing across the stage like an 11 year old schoolgirl. Other than tha…they still rock.

Are you referring to his slim physique or his rhythm rod?

I muted it and turned on “Paint It Black.” He may rock for a senior citizen, but that’s kinda like winning the Special Olympics.

Loved Sir Paul last year, though.

Mick was fine, but why did the guitars and drums sound so off-key, faint, and outright cheesy? Start Me Up sounded like Mick was waiting for a guitar chords that never came at first, and they sounded just plain off.

Meh.

Cut 'em some slack. It was wayyyyyy past their bedtime.

What was the second song? Something off their latest album?

Ahhh, yet another case of “don’t drink and post”

“Rough Justice” is from A Bigger Bang.

The AP is saying that it was deleted by the NFL (not ABC), but I didn’t think he sang it at all.

I don’t think so, either, but the broadcast was on a 5 second delay.

Right - but it was very noticeable when they deleted “cocks” from Rough Justice. If they did the same to that line, I’m not sure how I missed it.

I saw them in Honolulu just a few years ago and they kicked ass; I find it hard to believe that their quality would drop that bad that fast. I choose to blame the crappy audio. Big concerts like that just don’t transfer well to the small screen.

So the Stones are now wholesome family entertainment? Can someone just shoot me?
