Stop being the expert [famous people and political views]

There was more reporting and complaining about Kanye’s praise for Trump than the brevity of the show.

for historical reference -

Of course. That’s why I said, “maybe”.

Again, are you fucking kidding?

What in the bloody blue fuck makes you think the actors were afraid for their jobs if they didn’t deliver the statement to Pence? They asked to have input into the statement. They were eager for their views to be heard. They were not forced into participating. Any of them who did not want to stand onstage and be seen didn’t have to. They could have stayed in the wings.

I think you should check your hinge. It may need to have some screws tightened.

(post shortened, underline added)

Ahem, the actors could have invited the VP backstage to voice their personal concerns * instead of foisting them onto the audience. Fuck the actors of the cast of Hamilton for ruining the paid for and expected experience of the audience. I would demand a refund.

*To witch I would add - as well as voicing the concerns of their employers,

And it appears that the statement was made during the curtain call.

Great. If you were there, go ahead and “demand a refund”. If not, stop worrying about it. Mike Pence, for one, was cool with it.

Are you claiming that you speak for the actors?

Your personal attack is unwarranted and unwelcome.

I don’t speak for the actors. I’m just going by published accounts of the event which said the actors asked for input into the statement when they learned of it. That shouldn’t be hard to understand.

That’s great. Someone on the internet calling themselves Dewey Finn sez I should stop worrying about it. Why don’t I feel any different?

There’s a legitimate argument for considering rapping to be music; for considering it to be singing, not so much.
