OK, so the OP could’ve been phrased a bit better. The point is that I have to see enough crap reading through the threads from the trolls. The last thing I want to see is someone reminding me of what to do when I see a troll! We are all big boys and girls here. If you see someone who consistently is baiting or feeding the trolls, e-mail them! We don’t need a bunch of topics or replies stating what everyone already knows. In perticular, I have a problem with the blank space reply or the “.” reply. Why even comment? There’s plenty of space for post padding in ABTM!
If you are going to ignore, ignore. If you are going to interact, do so. But why waste the bandwidth with a silent reply? Everyone who has been around for more than a few days knows what a troll is and can deal with them however they choose. It’s getting to be worse than the Smoking PSAs in here…

Actually, I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at trolling, but I’m not sure exactly how to go about it.
I’m thinking about popping over to GD and starting a thread, something like, “The Catholic Church is the One True Christian Church, followers of all other religions are damned”
Think it’d get a rise out of anyone?
I’m open to suggestions on the most effective way to troll…
