What I came here to say (although my comment included an “am”)
Never liked her, and she is so cooperative showing why.

Eleven-year-old Jewish Illinois Nazis are the worst.
Dude, this made me laugh so hard I could not draw breath!
Not to mention burning her fellow cast members/writers/producers/etcetera, presumably many/most/all of whom don’t agree with Roseanne but are now paying the financial price for her big mouth. What a fucking idiot.
No kidding. Any show has a pretty decent amount of people depending on it to make a living, now they’re all paying the price for Roseanne’s bigotry.
Good for ABC for doing the right thing. That bitch needs to go back to obscurity.
And how sad that we all have to be relieved and grateful that ABC did the right thing.
They’d have done the right thing by not putting her back on the air at all. This decision was pretty much forced upon them, not a matter of moral courage.
Her talent agent just fired her, too.
So when will Trump start ABC bashing? I’ll say 30 minutes.
ABC is going to lose a lot of money and ratings over firing her, but it’s the right thing to do. This reminds me of the NFL situation, when the players are doing something bad for business, and when a majority of Americans think it’s never appropriate to disrespect the anthem, then they have the right to act to save their businesses as well.
Majority??
Eh, I can’t really agree with that. Roseanne wasn’t the instigator for re-starting the show, the presumably pretty liberal Sara Gilbert was. And though I haven’t watched it, by all accounts it wasn’t a full-on political bash-fest and covered multiple bases. Nothing wrong with that. Considering the high ratings, it was apparently a smart financial move by ABC to give it a try( quality aside ).
But I agree with this, more or less. It was the right move by ABC, but I have a feeling it was already falling apart on them and they knew it. One of the actors has already tweeted that she was about to quit before she heard it was cancelled.
Roseanne reaps what she sows, AND you laugh without mentioning a quarry? I think our country has finally rounded the bend, y’all!
There indeed is a bad joke here. It’s Roseanne herself since, oh, around 25 July 1990.
However, there is now a slot for another show, with its own cast and staff and suppliers, who now all have new gigs. I don’t think Wanda Sykes is going to be hurting for work, somehow.
You ever get part way through posting here, or perhaps a response to a Facebook post and think: “Nah. I probably shouldn’t say that”? So, you delete it and move on with your life.
Now, imagine how fucking racist and bigoted you would have to be to actually compose what Roseanne did, and then hit “post.” (Or whatever you hit on Twitter.)
A cross between the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes? That’s some seriously fucked-up bigotry.
Talent agent?
Oh, you mean “talent” agent.
As soon as I heard about the cancellation I felt bad for the actors that played DJ and first Becky. Neither one has been especially busy over the past decade.
I don’t know how it works in the industry, but I would hope that the majority of the camera, lighting, sound, editing, etc. workers will be working on a pilot for next season.
