Of course they are. Everything a private organization legally does is morally and ethically equivalent, and everyone should have the exact same reaction, thoughts, and feelings regarding those actions.
Does anybody have any idea where the recent Valerie Jarrett hate originated from? Seems Roseanne Barr and Silver Lining get their misinformation from the same source.
I thought of that poster too when I read that. Must be on some sort of liberalsarethedevil.com site or something. Probably start seeing it on my Facebook feed soon.
Pretty much every news website at this point. Sorry for the lack of original links, I didn’t want any stupid arguments over which website people would accept as an initial source.
Exactly. There’s little doubt that the NFL ratings, down 9% this past year and 8% the year before that, are at least somewhat connected to the anthem disrespect. There are enough youtube videos out there showing people burning their jerseys and such to ignore that.
And Rosanne was the #2 rated show, according to Nielsen, so this would cost them money. Private industry has the right to protect their business.
Bzzzt! Foul on the play. Alt-right tactic. You can’t win on this topic, so you tried to redirect it to another topic to get the liberals focused on that. I’m on mobile, so I won’t link which video covers this tactic, but I will point out how Bricker is dishonest again, and discourage people from taking the bait.
How many people aren’t watching because “fuck the NFL”? I know I’m one of them.
ETA: I mean, technically, I’m not watching for reasons connected to the anthem disrespect, but I’m gonna bet my reasons are different than the reasons you thought you were citing when you wrote your post.
How is this dishonest? It’s not an exact analogy I admit, but it’s private businesses making a decision so they don’t lose money, and in both cases someone did something that offends a sizable portion of the country.
