Strange behavior with a MAG LCD screen

I run a Win 2000 machine and recently got a MAG flat LCD monitor.
I installed the drivers from their site, but notice 2 odd things.

  1. The colors are all screwed up inside any PDF file; I get odd shades of green and magenta.

2). If I use thumbnail view inside an Explorer folder, no jpegs will render.

One would think it was the driver, and yet all indications are that it installed fine.
All colors/pictures look fine in all other applications.

Any ideas?
