Strange case in Rocky

I have been reading here recently about the Elizabeth Smart Case, and some of the comments about the ‘fishiness’ of the story. Well check this story out.

Leonard Fraser is currently on trial in the Supreme Court for the murders of 4 women in the Rockhampton area. He has already received a life sentence for the murder of a 9 year old in 1999. Yesterday police discovered one of his alleged victims, Natasha Ryan living in her boyfriend’s house. Now this is an 18 year old girl who was believed dead for nearly 5 years. Her boyfriend is in his mid 20’s, and was her boyfriend when she went missing.

Natasha claims that she has been outside 6 times in the past 4 years. It isn’t really clear whether her boyfriend was holding her against her will, but as she was a minor when she dissapeared, I’m sure there will be some charges laid.

Fraser’s ‘confession’ to Ryan’s murder, which was the Crown’s key evidence now looks pretty dodgy. This finding must also taint the Crown case against Fraser in the other 3 murders.

A few people have dropped the ball on this one.

The part I’m most curious about is this:

If Mr. Black is the boyfriend, and said he didn’t know the whereabouts of the girl, why was he summoned?

He was summoned to give evidence in the murder trial against Fraser. He would have perjured himself - in a murder trial - if he was going to state that he didn’t know where Ryan was.
