I do think less of you. This last bit of information has nothing to do with what college I attended, but the state of the economy and factors I can not control. I will never communicate with you again. You don’t even live in the same country as I do, but you’re making big assumptions about my state of employment. Many full time teachers subbed before getting their jobs.
Since you look down at subs, I hope your daughter/son (since you clear have at least one child), is sent home every time their regular teacher is absent. Just so you know, even private schools have subs. Since you’ve ALWAYS been employed I’m sure you have enough money to pay for your child to be babysat or put in daycare for the say. I’m always sure since you’ve always been employed you have endless sick/personal days to take the day off if said teacher is out.
However, I suppose if I wanted to take blood (which I find personally disguisting) and work longer hours and more days, for the same pay as a full time perm teacher, I would take the classes and get a job as nurse. A job which is always in demand in my area. I suppose the HIGH turn over shows what a dream of a job it truly is, Ms. never been unemployed.
I suppose I’ll continue being stupid and bid my time while I wait for a job that has the same, if not more, starting salary as a nurse for less hours per day and a 190 (including in staff meetings where children aren’t at school) day work year.
