Interesting thought, but the devil isn’t calling the shots.
Source - the depraved mind of WeRSauron, believe it or not. Came after some theological brainstorming with reference to how the world would be if the Devil were actually in charge instead of God. As far as Gnostics are concerned, this is so. (God rules the spirit world, which the Devil/the Demiurge has no part of.)
The Devil’s not calling the shots, eh? Or so you think. Mwahahahahahaha! After all, the New Testament does call him the prince of this world. God rules heaven, Satan rules the earth, no?
