Has anyone ordered/heard the CD yet?
Do tell.

Have it. Good if you’re a really big fan, but the best stuff is free on the site already.
To me it sounded like this was better recordings of the songs. Is that true?
It’s not just a re-recording, it’s a completely new version of each of the songs plus a couple of new ones. Definately worth in IMHO. If for mothing more than to keep the site going for another year.
Just wanted to be the first one to say Holy Crap!
It’s okay. There’s some filler on there, but there’s some gold, too.
[sub]And I actually LIKE one of the Limozeen songs, “Heart of a Lion” I think it is. And not in a campy “Ha Ha, they’re a fake metal band” way. I just think it sounds good blush[/sub]
And the Trogdor comes in the NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!
Good stuff. Good stuff.
I have it. It’s a great album for the Homestarrunner.com fan. I was kind of nervous at first, fearing that it might suck. It doesn’t. It is not without flaws – some of the songs are too short, for one thing – but it’s fun. Some of the stuff is good musically in addition to being quite funny. And you should really hear the long version of The theme from DANGERESQUE II- This time, it’s not Dangeresque I – just trust me on this one.
He’s got some Chinese stars
and he keeps them under the bed
with a length of pipe
Dangeresque!
As **Dangerosa ** pointed out when we were listening to it in the car, “some of these sound just like real songs.” Moving Very Slowly, the Taranchula song, sounds like a classic dark/death metal tune.
The last two songs on the album, *The Cheat is NOT DEAD * and EVERYBODY TO THE LIMIT (Live), rock pretty hard. Plus, you get a music video by The Cheat for Coach Z’s deathless classic These peoples try to fade me.
Coach Z’s got money
but not much

I could use a dollar
I could use a couple bucks
I can also recommend the figurines as monitor decoration. And my kids love the “Kick The Cheat” The Cheat. My daughter brought it to daycare for Share Day last Friday, which made me happy.
Does it have The System is Down on it? 'Cause I want to have a lightswitch rave.
Had it for several months. IMHO it’s not quite worth $12, but it’s good fun all around. There isn’t any one thing I can point out…it’s just freewheeling, goofy music, and if you’re a fan of the site, you’ll love it.
And if you have an issue with “filler”, you don’t know Strong Bad very well, do you?
Yes, it does!
Just yesterday I was flicking the lights on and off in the bedroom, to freak out the cats, and when my husband asked me what I was doing I said, “I’m having a lightswitch rave,” and he started singing the “doot-doot techno backbeat part.” And I swear to Og, neither of us does drugs, although probably we should.
I’m more interested in that expanded version of “The Cheat is not dead” that was sampled on the site before.
The Cheat Is Not Dead is certainly there, extended and improved, and ends with a gospel choir.
One of my favorite new songs is Sensitive to Bees, mostly because I think it proves quite conclusively that Marzipan and Strong Bad are sweet on each other. Poor Homestar. He’s just a sugardaddy.
And the secret song! You can’t forget the secret song!
What? Well, I suppose the best stuff is the animations. But as far as the music goes, the CD is far superior to the downloads.
Ok. I guess I’ll order it then.
It sounds like this CD will improve my lightswitch raves ten-fold.
