Well that happened sooner than I anticipated.

I am strangely enjoying this show quite a bit. The humor is as dry as can be, the acting is deadpan to an extreme, and the actors are very nonplussed, but I find myself drawn to it, and enjoying it for what it is. It feels very much like someone’s homebrewed game, with a new GM each week, and its done well. Can’t wait to see how this turns out.
I enjoyed the second episode even more than the first and I loved Christine Baranski appearing as Christine Baranski.
Well, it’s only a 10 episode run (so far) and I think we might be able to guess from the title how it turns out.
I was a little surprised to see the leader of the the resistance so early in the season. I also noticed that they weren’t killed off, unlike Raj. Of course, given multiple universes, I suppose that anyone could be brought back at anytime.
I’m really enjoying the series so far. It’s much better than I expected it to be and is unlike any other spinoff that I can think of.
I must say, I did enjoy Kripke getting zapped a lot.
Best bit was honestly Nowitzki as the psychotic receptionist cheerfully driving everyone else mad (pun intended.)
IMHO, episode 3, “Spoiler: Burt is Magic” was pretty weak. I did like Kripke as a penguin but other than that, meh.
I thought it was awesome.
I laughed out loud multiple times, so I say that’s a good episode. The plot was a bit messy, but that’s sitcoms for you.
I guess that my biggest issue was the demon. I thought that it was a waste of talent.
Nah, he was pretty good.
Not counting the main cast of “Stuart”, was Bernadette the only BBT alumnus?

I wish I could blame lack of sleep but I slept pretty good last night.
Watched the first two episodes last night. Fun, kinda silly, interesting to see some old Big Bang minor characters/actors show up.
My wife, who is one of those people who watches TV with her face buried in her phone, looked up at one point and said “Oh, they have an Indian guy in this.” I said “Yeah… it’s Raj.” “It is?!?”
C’mon, didn’t we all know already that Bernadette was a demon?
What I’m wondering is why Stuart, Bert, Kripke and Denise don’t run into themselves, especially since they often return to the comic book store.
