stuffing envelopes for money?

I actually answered an ad for something like this–all I got for my money was a poorly produced book of addresses of companies that supposedly paid people to stuff envelopes at home. What a crock. I also read somewhere that somebody sent their money in and what they got was instructions on how to send out flyers on “How you can make easy money at home…etc.”

I also have heard it said that ALL envelope-stuffing schemes are just schemes, or scams, or whatever.

They are right about the ‘no further charges’ bit, but as well as that, there will be ‘no further anything’ - they will vanish with your $10, or if they are really devious, they will string you along for a bit in an attempt to ‘build’ you up to parting with larger sums.
