My long time peeve is posters who use the third person to refer to themselves. In a thread title it is especially pretentious and annoying. Add a “Where” to start it off and you end up with a pretentious cliche-- the worst of all worlds.
An example title for you:

I guess really it’s more out of pity that I complain. The OP to these threads may be hilarious and fascinating, but I have NOT OPENED ONE of them, because I have no concept as to what they’re about. It’s for your OWN GOOD PEOPLE. Give us a hint, a hook, something to make us read. I know there’s limited space, but there’s sure as hell more space than “Cats!!” requires.

I generally just skip over the threads with vague titles. It’s been my experience that the ones with vague titles tend to be lame anyway. Of course I always wonder if I might be missing some really great thread, but it’s not worth the incredible waste of time to open all those threads.

I’d just like to point out that the “Definately” thread is obvious, as is any other misspelled one-word thread title.
Seriously folks, it’s a thread title, not a thread description.
Actually, with “Definately” the title sums it up pretty neatly, as it was a rant against people misspelling the word. Lame, perhaps, but the title was as descriptive as necessary.
