OK, watching TV tonight I was stunned by some guy telling me that he was a “Spokeslistener”. I mean, WTF is a spokeslistener? Does he speak or listen? Perhaps both? At the same time? Maybe neither? Shouldn’t it be a hearsperson?

Just when I thought that would be the dumbest thing I would hear tonight, some other guy tried to tell me wbyceiydbo.

Are there really too few words in the English language that we need these new ones? I vote we get rid of both.

OK, just saw another. A prescription drug to deal with constipation.

Guy says he has taken enough over-the-counter laxatives to cover the eastern seaboard.

Sounds like problem solved, to me. No need to get the prescription.

We have an ongoing thread in Cafe Society, More very hate-able commercials.

There’s one for the Iphone with a couple of guys out (I guess) birdwatching. I have no idea what the storyline of this thing is. Something about a picture of a robin, I think.
