Funnily enough, when I think “Vegan”, it’s a white, skinny, pale, bohemian/hipster-type middle class woman - not a man. The overwhelming majority of Vegans I’ve encountered have been female.

There are pretty much three living stereotypes of the rabid lefty; the college student, the college professor, the white actress. They aren’t just fringe, they’re ‘out there’ and you can’t pin them on all liberals any more than Alex Jones represents every single Republican. Gwyneth Paltrow is a kook, not a liberal. sorry but when they storm the DNC convention and make almost every speaker someone other than a straight white person, its kind of hard to think that the crazy identity politics is just a “fringe” thing. Or when the POTUS joins their game in purging historical figures from our public square or renaming sports teams. Or especially when PLO flags fly at the DNC too…

None of the coworkers complain except for one woman that wants to be referred to as she/her. Person wants to report coworker to HR for being a bigot. (Letter number 3 here.)

This is a fun story, but given the nature of the website it could be entirely made-up. It also doesn’t make much logical sense. “I thought maybe this person was transgender?” Huh?

The non-binary person in that article is being a complete tool and violating a core principle followed by almost all non-binary persons, which is use the fucking pronouns that people are comfortable with. If I was their boss I’d call them on the carpet about that.

It was one thing to say that a male who chooses to live as a female can do so (and the other way around), society accept or tolerate it. Now you wanna make it so one can be neither gender, now that sex supposedly is something to be ignored. Make up you mind and stop corrupting the nation and its national character!

Smells like people want a genderless society as Marx wanted a classless one. Communism failed for economics and it will fail for sex.

Shortbread.

1 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
2 1/3 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
2/3 cup crystallized ginger

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Lightly grease two 9" round cake pans, or two 8" or 9" stoneware shortbread pans, or a combination.
Combine the butter, salt, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl, and beat till smooth.
Place 1 cup of the flour in a food processor with the crystallized ginger. Process until the ginger is finely minced; this may take up to 1 minute.
Add this mixture, with the remaining 1 1/3 cups flour, to the butter-sugar mixture. Beat until well combined.
Divide the dough in half, and press half into each pan, smoothing the surface with your fingers or a pastry roller.
Prick the dough all over with a fork; this will prevent it from ballooning up or developing air bubbles as it bakes.
Bake the shortbread till it's golden brown all over, and a bit browner around the edges, about 35 minutes. Remove it from the oven.
Loosen the edges of the shortbread from the pan, using a table knife or heatproof nylon spatula. Wait just a minute or two, then turn the shortbread out of the pan onto a piece of parchment or a clean work surface.
Use a bench knife, a knife, or (easiest) a rolling pizza cutter to cut each round into 12 wedges. Do this immediately, while the shortbread is still warm. If you wait, it'll be difficult to cut.
Transfer the wedges to a rack to cool.
