I feel I should mention that I was in JC Penney’s yesterday and saw a number of boxes (and one display model, eeeuuughhhh) of a cheap knockoff of the Boogie Bass. That’s right, another company, believing that demand will be so high that the market will bear TWO singing bass companies, has ripped off the Bass and is churning out their own breed of singing rubber fish.
I was, to say the least, appalled.
They are now selling painted state quarters. Yes, they
have painted the first six in brillant day-glo colors.
Really ridiculous.
I am collecting the quarters. I figure there’s worst
things to do with 10 years and $12.50.
