You know ho it is when you find some money in a coat or pants pocket. Horray! Today I found a twenty dollar bill in a coat. Hooray! Yet, I also feel stupid. How could I not have known I was missing $20???
There have been times in my life that things were flush enough, and I was carrying enough cash, that I wouldn’t have missed $20.00. I mean, sometimes when I’ve been down to the last of my money, I’ve thought “gee, it seems like there should be a little more money”, but not always.
So don’t feel stupid. Just feel happy about the little windfall. And have fun figuring out a totally frivolous way to spend it. At least that’s what I would do.
Usually, I find wadded up bills in my pocket the day after the night I’ve been out drinking. Rarely a twenty, though.
