A number of people have paid via eChecks which take a few days to clear through PayPal. We’ll have to manually move you over to a Charter Member once the funds have cleared. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for bringing this type of transaction to my attention.

Just a hunch: Many moons ago, the custom title feature was accidentally turned on for all members. A number of members changed their titles at that point, and they had to all be changed back. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone whose title was changed at that time is now considered to have a custom title.
My veterinarian’s all booked up today, but if you can wait till tomorrow, I’ll sponsor it for you.
By the way, if we can’t have a typo-editing function, can we at least get “smack” back?
